In this drawing, the visual approach that strips the space of its symbolic meaning, involving it in a game of light and shadows and a composition of surfaces, reaches its climax. The familiar visual theme of the series, which is the light beams shining into the classroom, is still visible, yet the viewing angle here has changed. The classroom space departs from its usual viewing perspective and the focus on the floor, has reduced the classroom into a combination of surfaces. However, there is still a familiar object in this drawing and that is the school bag that brings the familiar world of this series, the world of classrooms and schools, into this formalistic game.
