Jawad Zia has been an art collector since 2004, during his time living in the Middle East, the US, and the UK. His work in media and creative fields fostered an appreciation for South Asian art, sparked by the diverse representation and selection of works from the region. Leveraging valuable relationships with art galleries and auction houses, he acquired pieces by Modern Masters and contemporary artists from the area. Furthermore, as a supporter of young talent, he offers scholarship programs at prestigious art institutions in Pakistan, which has deepened his understanding and interest in contemporary practices within the region.

Upon returning to Pakistan, he co-founded Numaish Gah to provide a platform for emerging artists and to create bespoke art acquisition plans for collectors.
