SARAI Gallery is pleased to present Red Noon, the second solo exhibition by Mehdi Chitsazha with the gallery, on view July 11 to 25, 2025, at SARAI-Tehran.
In this compelling new series, Chitsazha deepens his exploration of the complex relationship between humans and the nuanced fabric of urban life. Instead of offering clichéd or wide city views, he focuses on intimate and often overlooked parts of the city such as narrow alleys and hidden back streets filled with memory and meaning. By doing so, he captures both personal and shared experiences, the conflicts between tradition and modern life, and the emotional atmosphere of these places. The spaces he portrays feel both familiar and strangely displaced, where reality blends with imagination and the past merges with the present.
