Shiva Noroozi (b. 1980, Iran) received her BA and MA in painting. She makes an imaginary and mystical universe that is all her own. She has been living on Kish Island in the south of Iran for the last eight years. This quiet place with its blue sea and the vast sky has been very inspiring for her path of self-discovery. Her recent paintings are also influenced by the traditional Iranian visual world and literature.
