_Ali Zakeri
Ali Zakeri (b. 1959, Iran) holds his BA in painting from the University of Tehran and his MA in painting from Tarbiat Modares University. He has been an associate as well a board member at Iran Painters Association and teaches at the University of Tehran and the University of Art among other art institutions. Zakeri's works have been awarded at several art festivals including the First Biennale of Iranian Painters and The Third International Painting Biennale of the Iranian Academy of the Arts. In the summer of 2021, east Asian audiences were introduced to Ali Zakeri's works for the first time via JINGART 2021 Platform, and his paintings were also part of SARAI's group show at ASIAN Now: Paris Asian Art Fair.
